The cave goat grows horns that, unless periodically trimmed or ground away, will pierce its eyes, blinding it. Many survive just as easily afterwards though, as eyesight isn't imperative in the darkness of the caves.
The axe serpent is a hardy reptile that makes its home in the trees, gliding down for the occasional meal.
