Ridge

The wall's slopes are perilous, and most are content with the resources at the bottom. Only the most intrepid climbers go higher than a few thousand feet, and those who do manage are eventually stopped by the ridge - a giant overhang encircling the entire wall. Only thrill- seekers or climbers with nothing to lose continue trying to find a way through and discover what lies beyond. More bodies falling from above deter all of the rest.
